In Well-Lit Hearts Poem by Mohammad Younus

In Well-Lit Hearts

In well-lit hearts,
where shadows dare not dance,
illusion fades,
and temptations lose their pull.

Each breath, each glance—
a whispered pact with the divine—
draws the soul closer.

Beneath the lover's silent gaze,
the absent presence lingers.
The true self sings,
its immortal notes releasing,
until daylight softly calls.

And in this waltz,
the soul sways,
forever lost in divine melodies.

Till dawn's light breaks,
forming halos above,
shattering duality and separation.
There remains only One.
