In Wilderness, A Wanderer Astray Poem by Mohammad Younus

In Wilderness, A Wanderer Astray

In wilderness wanders one astray,
Seeking light, a guide to divine home.
Like autumn leaves, pale and withered,
By winds of doubt and illusion, blown away.

Their heart, bereft of divine eyes,
Seeks truth—a distant star, so tense.
Trusting whispers of shifting breeze,
Treading through thornful bushes.

Yet in the cracks of broken hearts,
Beauty blooms and healing starts.
For in the dark, seeds take their root,
To sprout out to see the suns radiant light.

O wanderer, hold hope's bright flame,
For in this wild, comes dawn's acclaim.
A day of light, awakening from sleep,
Where divine grace leads to home sure.

Step by step through thorns and shade,
The journey's toll will not evade.
Yet forward press, do not despair,
A journey of a thousand miles begins—
with a single step.

Your soul, an artist, molds from pain,
Masterpieces of art anew.
Your life, a symphony divine,
A melody through trials and tribulations.

You're not alone in wilds unknown—
The divine whispers: wherever you are, I am with you.
Trust this compass deep within,
And find the way back home again.
