Life teaches us lessons to make us wise
When times are tough we dream and fantasize
We build up walls and try to hide
The frightened person we feel inside
When lost, it's easy to run away
A caring heart can help us find our way
Emptiness I fear will become my home
My emotions soar into the vast unknown
When my world was crashing down
You entered my life and turned things around
I find in you qualities that seem so rare
You've brought to my life such love and care
What once was darkness you turned to light
It was you that made everything seem so right
When it seemed I wouldn't make it through another day
You entered my life and chased my doubts away
You are my angel that I hold so dear
You opened my heart and released my fear
I believe you and I are meant to be
As I've always said, you mean the world to me
I really do love you with all my heart
I dread every moment that we're apart
There is nothing that I wouldn't do
I'd even give my life up too....
