In Your Silence Poem by Amanda Deupree

In Your Silence

Rating: 4.5

In your absence I'll hold a pillow
I'll fill your silence with music
I'll allow the memories to be good
I won't think the worst
I'll always believe in you

In your absence I'll be strong
Your silence won't get me down
I won't allow you to be forgotten
I won't say what I'm thinking now
but I won't betray you

In your absence I'll roll in the blanket
I'll take the silence as peace
I'll believe you meant not to hurt me
I won't cry because I'm not sad
You'll always be my friend

I've lost nothing through your silence
But you've lost me!
