Incipience Poem by Daniel Ikechukwu

Incipience

Ten young maths students
Left college to dine
One was poisoned to death
Then they were nine.

Nine young maths students
Started coming late
One got expelled quickly
Then they were eight.

Eight young maths students
The wisest was just eleven
He refused to continue his studies
Then they were seven.

Seven young maths students
Began to play tricks
One was caught in the act
Then they were six.

Six young maths students
Abused their teacher's wife
One got arrested soon
Then they where five.

Five young maths students
Squander made them poor
One succumbed to stealing
And then they were four.

Four young maths students
As this case may be,
One didn't do his norm'l project
Then they were three.

Three young maths students
Yet another acted stubborn too
And refused to serve his penalty
Of cause, they were then two.

Two young maths students
Thought life was just fun
One got drowned at the beach,
Then there was one.

One young maths student
After all was done
Committed a clean suicide,
So there was none.
