Indelible Woman Poem by Singleton M. Tate

Indelible Woman

You're a sculptor of success and grace
Defining depths of loving-kindness, all confusion erased
A brilliant paragon, who's wisdom is divine
Indelible Woman... endowing the minds

Calling to the young make fast the lines
Upholding generations throughout the sands of time
Breaking the bonds of the evil powers that be
Looking for a soul in need to set free
Indelible Woman... today we honor thee

As you make History, Her-story's bestseller
Bestowed upon you was the strength of, 'The Creator'
Bearing all burdens never stopping nor looking back
Indelible Woman... within you there is no lack

With a kiss and a song, you march on in victory
Touching humanity, building bridges with bravery
Let faithful prayers and His exalted praise hold you fast
Knowing the turbulence of this life's journey won't last
Indelible Woman... you're God's Great Gift of present and past
