Indians At Rio De Janeiro Olympics 2016- The Future Looks Rosy Poem by Dr John Celes

Indians At Rio De Janeiro Olympics 2016- The Future Looks Rosy

The contingent was bigger;
The training was much smarter;
Their will-power was stronger;
They could have done much better!

But they had done what they could;
Many had missed a medal;
They lacked the high-tech training;
And lacked the instinct-killer!

But you can't blame the team much;
The first medal came bit late;
Rethinking needs to be done;
World-level sports isn't a joke!

The future could be golden;
India can take more medals;
Sports must be encouraged more;
A Midas touch is needed.

Failure is success delayed;
Guilt need not fill any heart;
There is a time for reaping;
But, sow good seed in soil good.
