Indignant
Why do you always break my heart?
I break my back just to make you happy,
I sacrifice everything that I am for you;
I sacrifice everything yet you're still unhappy,
I know I cheated on you but you've always been my kryptonite.
I know I cheated but for the record she wasn't as good as you,
I know that's no justification not even close to a Krypton height.
But please accept my abnegation cause my pen has always bled for you.
You are the one I've always stayed true for; say you love me & hate me at the same time.
I cheated on you with Rap but Poetry, please understand it has always been you.
I cheated and when the Ghetto Nerd dropped you dropped out of love she wasn't even as good don't you see?
Couldn't you understand that Rap was just a Prelude to you.
Couldn't you understand that you have always been the owner of my heart,
The foundation of my Art, why should anything do us apart when we loved each other from the very start.
You, have always had my inclination, I always endeavored to be the king of your heart, but everytime I tightened my grasp you did me like a barbed wire.
Poetry you are my love, the queen of my heart;
I will sacrifice everything else for you but if you keep breaking my heart arbitrarily with your indignation then I will be left with not a choice but to hang my pen and let the ink dry out, because no one keeps throwing wood to a dead fire...
