Indulge Poem by Leon Moon

Indulge

Absorb without collision -

Extract without definition;

I must be a man now

For voids catalysing the future

Are but scars, layers of thirst, terminal-past

Dependent on the touch defied by the genesis

Of my youth's eternity —

The gold-woven constancy, a king before adulthood, bounties and silent-strung riches

Conniving the eye which beholds itself as a lost ember not yet separated by ideals of self-reflective isolation, sanctified damnation —

She offers beyond love, beyond magic, the revelations as well as the suffering given me,

Beyond the edifice birthing imagination

And the capsule preserving memory

Renewed only by silent loyalty implicit

In the explosion of each breath, deafening fireworks binding blindness blending

Her a witness to a world I shackle myself to for life; - a passing glance defaced by the wind...
