Inevitability - Poem by Kishore Asthana

Have you heard
The sound of one hand clapping?
As time passes, we draw back
Hoping against hope,
To do so

But much as we try
Our efforts
Are futile waving of our hand
Nature does not cooperate
It keeps its applause
For the end
