Infactuation Poem by Raimi Babatunde

Infactuation

You tried to drown me
When you took me to the river
And you knew I can't swim.

You gave me a fire, fire look
I fell for that like Delilah to David
Only to realise I'm locked unto you.

Although, I've known you for a few weeks
Those few weeks is a long time
Especially in this very special times.

Truth is, I'll travel thousands of miles
To drink from your breast of wisdom
Even if it's the last thing I do.

Now, my faith hangs the balance
To see if this is true love or infatuation
Just give me a green light, please.
