Infanticide Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Infanticide

civilization
we are so intelligent
we are so advanced

so why do we kill babies
fifty million a year

infanticidal
slaughtering children en masse
sell their body parts

unwanted, unloved
incinerated alive
thrown in the trash can

yes, we are so civilized
as we commit genocide

beyond prying eyes
the butchers will go to work
tearing at the flesh

no anaesthetic
foetus's torn to pieces
and sold for profit

is this romantic enough
twinkle twinkle little star

aborted you are
just don't upset the masses
'wheel of fortunes' on
