Despite all the perception of propaganda, the individual voter can tilt the balance- either way. His judgement may be wrong yet he deserves dignity. Thanks.
Thanks for your comments guys. Rajnish the point of my poem is not the fact that the individual voter can tilt the balance either way, it is the fact that neither party is worth voting for in the first place as they essentially represent big business/ corporate interests and not ordinary people. In terms of the U.S the main parties have become a duopoly..neither of them advocates universal health care for all, both endorse very aggressive foreign policies etc. etc. etc.
Each to their own as the old adage goes. The human conflict between each other will always be there be it politics, religion many myriads of themes/ideals to pick and choose today, or one future day over Antarctica water rights. Will we ever learn? Will we ever want to, if so deeply entrenched in a dogmatic and unforgiving frame of mind. Five stars Dominic and thank you for sharing your thoughts. Take care.
