Infatuation Poem by Jonny Brackney

Infatuation

his eyes find a picture
of an angel
with no wings.
he fills his head
with folly.
unfulfillable
desire.
he curses
the boundaries.
he curses
himself.
he would sleep
on nails
if he could sleep
next to her.
he knows
his infatuation
is beyond
obscene.
just a silly picture
on a silly
magazine.
