Infectious Toxic Poem by emily summers

Infectious Toxic

Your words corrupt my soul,
poison my blood,
intoxicate my thoughts,
like dark magic,
your toungue spins masterpiece lies,
you weave amazing pictures through stories,
you're frivolous,
fantical, magical,
you're infectious and impure heart diseases everything in your path,
your heart is hard like rock,
your tough exterior is as cold as ice,
your masculinity charms me stupid,
however your need to impress sends me livid,
you have no affection,
i want to make a connection,
melt away your exterior,
instead of making me feel inferior,
i wanted to get to your humble core,
but i discovered you didn't have one,
so why do i still have this infatuation?
You draw me towards you magically,
I guess it must be curiousity,
you have no integrity,
sincerity,
you don't want to be settling,
you're way too flirty anyway,
you aren't mature,
thats why you tell stories,
to hide from your emotions,
speak lies to hide your devotion,
i want to purify my heart,
clean up my soul.
make a fresh start,
i don't need miracles,
i have morals,
my conscience is telling me,
so goodbye my infectious infatuation,
and good riddance.
