Inferior Eight Poem by Okello Baloyi

Inferior Eight

Born with less but you're still precious, pain and suffering been raining, why should poverty reflect on a person, why can't we use ideas which are potential regardless of their origin, where I'm coming from doesn't say much but where I'm going there's future, hope on the low key.

Money may be the aim, but we know the struggle than those born sucking silver spoon, how could past taint my future, so less fortunate doesn't deserve opportunities, such low life lived by the wealthy kind.

I wonder if there's anyone who still cares for the poor, cause lately life is a game of exchange, I dive for change with nothing of my own or to give, imagine such uncertain future pathway.
