As I get up from my slumber in the morning, ,
and open the folds of the newspaper..
i find the news of price rise mocking me in bold black fonts..
i let out a sigh from my lips, ,

onions at forty bucks a kilo, ,
tomatoes at fifty bucks, a kilo, ,
i know i will have to make up by eating potatoes the entire month, ,
wheat prices are also skyrocketing, ,
guess, , i will have to watch my calories,
and measure them before i eat, ,
oh god! !
please be sympathetic, ,
you cannot force a 50 kg guy to start dieting, ,
this is just not done dude! ! !

how utterly ridiculous, ,
how seriously insane, ,
here i am, ,
the disheveled, shabby common man, ,
trying to make ends meet, ,
working extra hours, ,
not even minding my boss being insanely bossy, ,
coz incidentally i, he and the chowkidaar, ,
are the only people who stay in the office that time, ,
i have to bear his snoring, ,
he sleeps on his mahogany table while i work my a## off, ,
trying to provide for my family, ,

guess, ,
things are'nt going to get any better, ,
coz the government seems hell bent on, ,
lashing at everything i hold on to, ,
the last pieces of rope i catch hold of, ,
are being forcibly snatched away from my hands.

i start thinking, ,
wondering, ,
when this news will again appear, ,
and knock the life out of me, , , , , ,
