Ingratitude Is A Sin Poem by Shalom Freedman

Ingratitude Is A Sin

Rating: 5.0

Ingratitude is a Sin-
God has given me so much
I have so much to be thankful for
But inside I focus only on what I lack-
Inside I focus only on my own failures-

Ingratitude is a sin
I pray for God’s forgiveness
And pray I will not be punished for my bad feeling-

I have so much to be thankful for
And inside I can focus only on
What I am not
And the problems to come.

Being ungrateful for the things that God has blessed us with is a sin. If we would look around us and see the many things he has bestowed upon us we would be thankful. Food, family, friends, health, finances and much more! A very thoughtful write. I invite you to read some of my works: Be Thankful Precious Moments An Angel Just for Me No Room for Hate Peace
