Inner Cry Poem by JESUROBOOWIE GIFT IMAFIDON

Inner Cry

Rating: 4.5

There is a cry without tears
One of the soul, of the inner heart
With pain so deep that cut like a dagger

There is a love that hurts so badly
Wrecking the comfort of the heart
and shattering every pre-arranged future

There is a shame that defies all boldness
One of a mother whose only child had kicked the bucket
In protest to an innocent motherly advice

We all have our dates with the inner cry
When the nights no longer sleep
For the gruesome scenes and brutal fear

When even our own shadows
Could stir the scariest nightmares
And cause the days to be filled with silent sobs

But no storm, however windy, lasts forever
The rainbow will come at the end of the storm to colour our lives
In the end, joy will dance again, to comfort every aching hearts
