Inner Light Poem by William Lindenmuth

Inner Light

The ever shining light

By Bill Lindenmuth

There's an ever shining light
That will find its way to you
For even when it's darkest
Its beams come shining through
A light of many colors
As brilliant as light can be
To illuminate the spirit
That glows in you and me
There's a multicolor rainbow
A luminescent arc
That dances in our subconscious
That lights the spirited spark
Its the spark of inspiration
And the colors of our dreams
On the cusp of reality
And fantasy it seems
Its an everlasting light
Like a rollercoaster ride
That takes us through this life
We laugh, we cry, we slide
Then the light we see becomes us
And the darkness fades away
For our spirit has awakened
To live another day

I wasn't sure where to go with this
Butit turned out to be a pleasant ride
