Innocence - Poem by Lois Marie Thompson

It walks the paths of dancing leaves, free falling
Laughter on butterfly wings,
With abandon, never measured, a smile of light-
Pure delight fresh from God's warm embrace,
A signature of trust it ensues,
Love unfathomable it imbues,
A baby's smile reveals it's truth,
Innocence, thy name is beauty.
