Set Free

The trumpet calls across the plains,
Legions fall and rise again
To fight anew the ill begotten gains
Of power and greed and other things.
The heart is warm where friends abide
The Masters voice is tucked inside,
Each voice an echo of the other
Trust and love of one another
The old and new point out one fact
We can't turn back, we can't turn back,
His death has given us the key to heaven
His spirit left to guide us.
Forgetting self-cast off the mask,
Accept the task before you lain,
Remove all doubts, He is supreme
Judgment is His alone to claim.
With strength renewed, His spirit in us,
The unlocked doors of knowledge opened
Grace abounds and through it leads
The sick, the lonely, the lost like we
To heights of unimagined glory.
The bible tells a simple story
By Faith we are indeed set free,
To claim the promise from above,
And live eternally with His love.
