Innocence Poem by paige mee

Innocence

dont you love it when its really early in the morning?
And you feel like you're the only one awake.
You feel like you dont have to hide anything.
It wonderful, So innocent.
And protected by the thought that your yourself,
And pure, and invencible.It's brilliant.
You have nothing to do except listen to the birds outside you window.
The birds sound so little, But they're so important.
Im full of doubt, but I have one ounce of hope left.
I'll spend it wisely.
The rest of the world is awakening,
The inocence is fading.

Super, this is a really cool poem. I really enjoyed the concept of the early morning feeling of utopia and how it faded away. Brilliant.
