Train Tracks To No Where Poem by paige mee

Train Tracks To No Where

I'm gonna run and not look back,
I don't know where I'm going just following the train tracks,
It's getting hard to breath,
Are you still chasing me?

My feet are in sync with my heartbeat,
I think it's a pretty melody.
My mind is clear,
And you're nowhere near.

My hands begin to shake,
I don't know why.
It's no where close cold,
I begin to cry.

I keep running and crying,
For no apparent reason,
The leaves are red and yellow,
It's about to change season.

The sun is in the middle of the sky,
All that's running through my mind is,
Why, why, why?
I'll answer myself with a lie.

My face is numb,
I'm not focused on that,
I can see the end of the train tracks.

Did I just run myself to the end of nowhere?
All I can do is answer with a tear.

Im 12, i hope i drew a picture with words, thanks for reading!

This one so far is my favorite. Love the picture words and rhythm.
