Innocence Of Stolen Poem by Kelsey Bachmeier

Innocence Of Stolen

Rating: 4.8

The bracelets they multiply
as the cuts now, hard to hide
long sleeved shirts
cover my proof of hurt

For you to just walk away
and take back love
a rather confusing word to say

but i guess it was easy for you
if your feelings were never true
I was the only one who tried
to keep our relationship alive
I was the only one who cried
the one who felt deprived

I mean, you got everything you wanted
but my shadow's being haunted
by everything that happened
everything that shouldn't have happened

the innocence of stolen
the eyes of the lost
a smile of the faded
a face of the forgotten.

Wow. That is a good poem. Written with meaning and heart and feeling. I love poems written like that. Its like they are written effortlessly.
