Innocence Rendered Void Poem by Tammi Tomlinson

Innocence Rendered Void

For the second time she lifts her head,
And see's him kneeling there,
The pain tears through her,
Like a searing hot flame,

She struggles against his grip,
His body pressing down on hers,
Screaming he violate's her innocence,
Tearing her mind apart with it.

Years later she hasn't forgotten,
The memories still hard in her mind,
Sedation her only salvation,
From the monsters in her mind
