Inocent - Poem by Lilly James
I don't remember the first day we met
We were so little and inocent
No one looking at us then would see
The distructive paths we now lead
Gone our separate ways,
So much has changed
So much remains the same
We still hate our mothers and still
Believe in our fathers love
And their protective ways
We're no longer friends but one thing
Will always remain
We once were best friends
When we were so little and inocent
No one looking at us then would see
The distructive paths we now lead
