Insanity Poem by Arunesh Goswami

Insanity

Rating: 5.0

Ages after ages I’ve loved you
In the incessant noise of my life I’ve been waiting
For you, to reach you thru
The tumultuous waves of suffering,
Ah! it becomes a habit now
To suffer in the agony of life; like a tree
Standing still in yesterday’s hot sun and now
In the stormy wind, in the lightening spree;
I'm like a lone boatman who row
Thru the colossal waves of ravaging storm
Thru the soothing glitters of the faery to know
Who from the full-moon steps in his heart like a song,
Unheard, yet with the melody of its symphony
Dance the rain, the heaven and the earth,
The twinkling stars glow thru me
And ask who thy faery is in my heart?
In the rigid silence I utter not, O what should I say
As to myself unknown it is, our story
Is invisible like the winds of spring at day
And mute alike the peaceable moonlit; and me
Stare agape burying all thy emotions at the wondrous sky
Bewildered by thy old mysterious feelings again
In the insanity of romance, still shy
To break the bars of thy creed yelling His name.
