I read your poetry
I listen to your song
I behold thy painting you paint for me
Sitting in your lawn.
The sound when the water waves break on the shore
Alike soft is your voice
The trees whisper, the ripples dance and glitter
With you they rejoice.
Your presence is like the wind that blows
And sweep me away
Your heart is like the sun that glows
With thy refulging spirit at day.
To touch you I move far to the horizon
But thou so nigh to me you stay
To love you I wait for the sweet spring season
And you love me everyday.
You paint for me thy beauteous sky
You sing for me the rain
I see you in the birds that fly,
Yet I live in pain.
With thy thousand words the dancing ripples speak to me
The breeze importuning me to move
To the blaze of your glittering country
To your heart brimming with love.
