Snowfall Poem by Arunesh Goswami

Snowfall

Rating: 5.0

I doubted my life galloping
Thru the mystical ways when it goes
I doubted untill this morning
When suddenly it snows.
I step out in the inclement weather
And lose control over my mind
When I see the white snow everywhere
Falling down with thy wind.
The earth looks like a gleaming paradise
My footsteps dig deep below
O incredible is thy picture before my eyes
From heavens falling the snow.
And for the rarest moment in my life
I feel thy bliss without you
I feel thy emotion when you were nigh
And loved me true!
I hop and jump and shake the branches
Which with snow are covered
When down below my sight glances
An untrodden path appeared:
I crost a bridge and tread no far
O to your gate it must go
Perhaps my heart is heavy and marred,
Instead I enjoy the snow!
The snow spread far and wide
Over the earth who's silent today
Sleepy are the trees and I proudly ride
My heart's own way!
Thru the white earth I tread on uphill
O again, I aspire to hear your call
But thou you stay silent and still
Like the mute snowfall.
