Insecure Serenity. By Gio Masserati Poem by Gio Masserati

Insecure Serenity. By Gio Masserati

Forgive me
For wanting to be
The only one
in the room
To you
Like you are
To me

Waiting for you
And watching
your every move

I can't hardly look at you
Let alone smile
For you take my breath away
Every millisecond while

Just wondering
Do you like anything
At all about me
Love me
I just suppose
You would
For my heart is a mess

I'm finding it hard
To love you
Painfully distressed

Insecurities are there
Beneath the surface
Teasing gravity's weight
As my spirit lifts
I'm drawn toward you
To taking you in

Finding some
Like-minded sanity
In this mind boggling
Insecure Serenity
