Insecurity Poem by Ashlee Davis

Insecurity

Rating: 5.0

The friends you choose
Your clothes, your shoes
Those are the things
I hate about you
You hide your feelings
You fake that smile
Being happy
Is only once in a while
I know your secrets
I know your doubts
I know your insecurities
You hate your hair
You hate your smile
The mirror's your only enemy
You will never be beautiful
No matter how hard you try
Money and make-up
It's all just a lie
Some may think I'm crazy
Some may think I'm mean
But you're the only person I hate
And that only person is me
