Inside Poem by hannah chiz

Inside

Memories of conversations send
horrific pulsations to a crater of
a heart once filled with utmost elation,
wrenching ancient fondness buried
under bones and dull colours,
aching shudders juxtaposing the
two persons in your lover.
Tidal waves of tears
subside to leave a heavy stone inside,
a deep set ache- the only
remnants of a pain for thriving love that
once kept you alive.
A true goodbye
to old comforts that kept you
wrapped in duvet covers-
one smile smothered with another.
Hold each other, unfold creases
glue the pieces
rushes and releases
sshhhhh, and usher silence
as intensity increases, peaks
and shatters, trusting every aspect in
your characters and flattering
the other just by standing comfortably,
hand in an other hand in
love and grand, that happy glow
that radiates from those who know
another's heart's replaced their home
and noone's all alone. A cheek
to brush anothers, shove hard
secrets under covers, hope to
God that noone drags you
down from this
euphoric
Throne.
