Inside Her Garden (Poem) Poem by Martin Kloess

Inside Her Garden (Poem)

Inside her garden door
Where wishes by the score
Enough to make hearts soar
And to this end he swore
For who could ask for more

Inside her garden door
This flower of delight
Was waiting for his sight
Another dream ignite
His pleasure to incite

And there within her eyes
Where wishes by the score
Enough to fill the skies
Which drift to her sighs
To hopes she now applies

Her love she cannot hide
She sings of it with pride
Enough to make hearts soar
Which echo far and wide
The whispers felt inside

He’ll be with her one day
To take her far away
True love he will display
And to this end he swore
That by her he will stay

A young girl’s fantasy
In garden she sets free
And only she can see
How grand true love can be
For who could ask for more
