Inside Outside Poem by Shweta Kolhi

Inside Outside

There are times when I think,
Is this the life I want to live,
Don't take me wrong,
I'm not giving up,
I don't want to go up and hear the bell.

But I do feel tied up,
Torn inside to smile above,
Chasing a dream,
I never dreamt,
In reality a lot it meant.

The world see's I have it all,
Family, friends and 'true' love above all.
Still I feel a deep hollow,
A dark space within me that pulls and swallow's.
Hope it turns me inside - out,
So I can live my life without a doubt.

This may be a sign of depression..... but if u r within 25. U will overcome such feelings of melancholy if u think less seriously of life which is full of sound and fury and signifying nothing. It is a walking shadow that struts and frets its hour on the stage and then is heard no more.....

Brilliantly written. It's a thought that bothers all of us at some point of time, even though our life appears to be drifting, we still feel a hollow inside, at times. Deserves a 10.

Simple but thoughtful poem.A poet or a creative person always feels lonely inspite of having all he/she desires! ! This is life. Thanks Shweta..

life is a question we answer as we travel along it.
