Inside The Wulf Poem by Pierre Rausch

Inside The Wulf

That's how the wolf feels anyway
About this baby business
And radiators and they'll hunt all winter
A new kind of handwriting

The change that happened
A cardboard box inside the wolf
A wagon piled with merch
They don't fear noises

She went down on the paving
Of course I remember the wolf
More like a superior without risks
On the tip of my tongue to use

The change that happened
A cardboard box inside the wolf
A wagon piled with merch
They don't fear noises

It could have been an accident
Walking to town across the rutted fields
The day-trippers must head back to village
First man there is a starving bear

The change that happened
A cardboard box inside the wolf
A wagon piled with merch
They don't fear noises

Honeymoon protection concealed
That wedding like it was yesterday
Look into that sigh, nothing else
The troubles of the world behind
