Insolent Rage Poem by greg richardson

Insolent Rage

Insolent rage
instruct my fear
to win the day
and drink a beer
drown the moments
of emptiness
fill my glass
with consequence
eradicate the throws of death
that lurk in the wings
of modesty
play bones with pieces
of my heart
wreck my soul
as you wrecked the Titanic
I won't fight
the gashes to my brain
and synapses may never
work again.
but who's complaining
Beach this whale
of too little attention
to detail.
