Insomnia

Rating: 5.0

even the ticking of clock
is hardly audible
in that rumbling that
filled the sleepless night
there aren't any shadows
or ghosts let loose
except the beat of heart
and the breath beside
it's a silence difficult to swallow

i sit like a monument
the outline of body
absorbed by the darkness

...and then
i hear the crows ca...ca...ing
and then
i hear prayers
from the distant mosque
in spite of closed
doors and windows...

Yoonoos peerbocus has made us experienced before with insmonia from an different uspect, here poets touch in insmonia is also the different in taste. Lines of drawing very short and materially exposed......pains are less but pictures are many. Uniquely the poets expression pulls the reader to her as..... i sit like a monument / the outline of body / absorbed by the darkness........we simply become dumb to imagine the imagery. And the awakening of day from the womb of night is visually very perfect as if insmonia marching towards the grave.. Well-written another good poem for our reading experience. Regards, 10+ pranab
