You have always been by my side
Whether I was wrong or right
Telling me to hold on, teaching me
How to be strong
You were there, after every fall
Picking me up, showing me how to stand tall
It´s been a long road
But for you there´d be no limits to where I could go
And the warmth in your embrace
Comforting me, giving me faith
And the words you speak
Guide me, through whenever I feel weak
I could live up to a hundred years, maybe more
But I could never be as brave as you are
That´s what´s gotten you this far
No words I could write down would ever do
Express how much I love you.
