Inspiration
I was looking for inspiration:
A point of reference,
A cause for elation,
An intellectual foil,
A companion in libation.
I was looking for salvation:
A train for my soul,
A firm foundation,
A route to follow,
A natural migration.
I was looking for liberation:
An out to my in,
A total emancipation,
A physical enlightenment,
A firework celebration;
But you got in the way.
