Interview With God Poem by divya gaur

Interview With God

Rating: 4.5

One day I asked God,
where do you stay?
I searched everywhere
but all in vain.

God looked at me for sometime,
then parted his lips to smile
With a twinkle in his eyes,
He spoke after a while.

For the ones who want to hear me,
should listen to falling of raindrops,
the rumbling of leaves in a forest,
or the waves meeting the shore.

For the ones who want to see me,
shall find me in an infants eyes,
or the right me a little flower,
that blooms with sunrise.

For those who want to touch me,
should walk barefoot on sand,
should feel the first snowflake,
or hold an agile hand.

God looked into my eyes
and said, 'my dear child.'
if you really want to see me,
you need not look outside.

whenever you may need me,
in times of joy or despair
just close your eyes, my sweet child
pray and I will be there.
