ah, you are here
retreating
moving back
to where they shall
live
a thousand fears
ah, you are here
overcome by your cowardice
you have surrendered
like a sun
sinking into the darkness
of this horizon
engulfed by the coldness
of the night
why? how many deaths shall
there be?
just once
just one quick pain in the
head and then it will be
gone.
do not fear
the morning light is still here
its warmth is caressing our
hair
its hands are coddling our
flesh and breasts
ah, you have surrendered after
all
into the these thousand fears
and you shall suffer more
in shame and in humiliation
be with us
in the morning light
in this challenge we give
our humble smiles
sink with us
in the ample light
for this is where we belong.
ah, you have given up
the right to be king
you have diminished into the
invisibility of an atom
there you are not seen
not felt anymore
and here we are
we stand our ground
we are not afraid
we belong to the light
to the victory of our
silence.
