Intoxicated Poem by Felix Otiende

Intoxicated

The world is drowned in silence
Who will tell tales of love
Life was running& I was running after it
There were new roads, new ups and downs in it
In an unknown lane, I found a destitute like(viv)
Where has she come from?
My whole world was intoxicated & she brought everything back to senses
She taught the art of smiling & also how to drink grief
The one who have given me a million moments to remember,
How can I forget her.
Take me home, my friend
My heart is lost &seeking an asylum
You are my shadow, I'm your shade
You flow in my veins, you remained in my sight
Still I couldn't see you
I'm of no use without you
I'm broken from branches
I'm flying somewhere, I don't know where
Let me come someplace, I'll blossom and where I'll find you
My heart has become a wanderer
If you feel sad by cracking jokes.
I will make you laugh
If you afraid of darkness at night
I'll make it full moon
Take my hand in your hand&
Spend some precious time with me.
