Intruders Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Intruders

Intruders

These devils hatch by tens, hundreds;
I kill one, now and then.

Therefore they grow large
Both in size and number
Multiply.

Wild, shameless…

Their coming resemble invaders'!

First in peace
Lacked knowledge of the tongue
Did not know language
But approved treaties.

Sought passage to cross,
They entered fur trade
Later asked for cottage.

But now hold the senate
They are the governors
Set the rules; have power.

Wild, shameless…

They decide and walk on
My corpse, my cadaver.

Devils are cockroaches.
