Invasion Poem by Flencirose Basera

Invasion

</>Supped of life
By the invaders
Draining life from self
Slowly and patiently

Feeding on self
Burrowing and occupying
Strengthening their forces
On one's life source

Dominating every part of one's structure
Making one to submit
Without force at all
Only overpowering at all angles

The foreign presence
So forceful it shocks the mind more than the body
Making one numb
Only the body reacts to the state of the mind

They battle around
Concern and compassion on their faces
Saving a life like self
That have no hope at all

You can drain energy from those around you
They pass it on unknowingly
Willing it though hope has gone
Till a light clicks in your horizon

The Lord's angels
Alive and living amongst us
Thought and care abundantly applied
With a gift only found from the source of everything!
