Invisible Poem by Nicole Ellis

Invisible

Rating: 5.0

Everyone is talking around
me when I speak it's like no
words come out. No one even
turns to look at me. No one

acknowledges me. I'm
invisible. No one sees me.
I could dance like I'm crazy
and no one would even glance

my way. I could yell at the top of
my lungs and no one would say
anything. I could throw anything

at the wall, and over people's heads
and no one would duck, no one
would look. That is my truth.
