Invisible Prisons Poem by RIYA EKKA

Invisible Prisons

Rating: 5.0

In crowded rooms, she feels alone
A sea of faces, a heart of stone
Her mind races fast, her soul feels tight
A fear of judgment, a constant fight

She longs to speak, but words won't come
Her voice is trapped, her thoughts are numb
She fears rejection, she fears the glare
Of eyes that judge, of voices that stare

She tries to breathe, to calm her mind
But anxiety's grip is hard to unwind
She feels like hiding, like fleeing the scene
From the weight of expectations, from the fear of being seen

But still she stands, though her heart is weak
She faces her fears, though her soul seeks
To escape the pain, to break the mold
To find her voice, to be bold

For in the darkness, a light will shine
A glimmer of hope, a heart that's mine
She'll find her strength, she'll make her way
Through the storm of anxiety, to a brighter day.
