Irony Poem by Libby Harvey

Irony

Awaking from a sleepless night.
closed-mind thinking,
open-eyed sleeping,
sweating shivers,
quiet quivers.

Thinking in the broad daylight.
hopeless ideas,
useless reasons,
hiding places,
different seasons.

Loving from a different view.
hated by many,
loved by few.
unpredictable clues,
plain confused.
lost in the dark,
short fused.
