Please take my hand.
Walk here in the sand.
I give you my heart,
right here in the dark.
Take it, ignite the light inside me.

We believed in one another.
There was no other.
Do you remember?
Looking into my eyes.
There was a peace you gave me.
You were made for me.

Time was not ticking,
while we were together.
Promising the 'we' forever.
Where did we go?
Into the wind,
as grains of sand.
We searched for another land.

We were beautiful for each other.
A mutual companion,
the relationship of champions.
Where did you go?
I miss you so.
Come back, please,
So we can be.

Do you remember what we had?
The time we spent, the bond we made, and the love we gave?
You took my hand,
there in the sand.
I gave you my heart,
and you lit up the dark.
