Irreplaceable Poem by Erin Jane Creshilt

Irreplaceable

It’s been eight years already
And I’ve met thousands of guys
I’ve tried searching for you
In every single one of them
But they only carried a small piece of you
Still it wasn’t enough
Since none of them had ever captured my heart like what you did
And it was then that I finally realized
That you’re like the breeze –
Gentle but harsh sometimes, warm yet cold
Fleeting but truly irreplaceable
